Local Area Network Manager, Sr.
Hold primary responsibility for the overall performance, availability and security (software and hardware) of the network across 22 counties in New York State. Personally plan, direct and oversee all aspects of intranet Web systems including design, release, and maintenance. Analyze the needs of the Court and establish priorities for systems design, projects and implementation to develop new and/or modify IT systems
- Personally designed and developed a web-based case tracking database for an entire state agency, it allows for dozens of simultaneous users and currently holds millions of records. The system replaced a series of disjointed Paradox databases with a unified MySQL database backend; it featured a zero-learning-curve interface design and was done at no cost to the state.
- Consolidated network hardware infrastructure resulting in a 50% decrease in capital expenditures and a dramatic increase in up-time and ease-of-administration.
